Description: Water is life. But in Limdee Taluka of Surendranagar district of Gujarat Dalit villages never had access to safe drinking water. However, once the CVU team of Apna Malak Ma came to show a film in one of the villages. After the film local women met with Manjibhai of the AMM CVU and decided to form a women's group to fight for their right to safe water. The women's group led a collective struggle which made the local administration to provide safe water to the Dalit villages.

Description: Of the many problems that slum dwellers of Mumbai face, piles of garbage on their lanes is one. The team of Hamaari Awaz, the CVU screened a film on Right To Information in the slums. After the screening, people of the slum themselves filed an RTI to find out what was the progress of Municipal Corporation's garbage cleaning plan. The RTI provided them information and soon after the corporation restarted removing garbage from the slum.

Goa attracts a lot of media attention, however what doesn't get attention is the problems that are experienced by the locals. Garbage and waste disposal is one such key problem. The municipality is masking the long term garbage challenge in Goa to create a pristine picture for IFFI. This video was made during the Goan People's Film Festival.
